About Burger King

Burger King is a fast-food chain that was founded in 1954 in Miami, Florida, by entrepreneurs James McLamore and David Edgerton. The original name of the restaurant was Insta-Burger King, and it was based on a cooking machine called the Insta-Broiler. Burger King’s signature item, the Whopper, was introduced in 1957 and became an instant hit with customers.
